To compete in a Leon Paul Junior Series Competition:There is alot of useful information on the Leon Paul Junior Series website about what you need to know to compete on the day. Epee Equipment List • Fencing shoes or trainers • Socks • Breeches (350 Newtons) • Tee shirt or base layer • Under Plastron (800 Newtons) • Chest Protector (required for girls, and many boys wear them) • Fencing Jacket (350 Newtons) • Body wire • Mask • Glove • Electric weapons (Checked and tested) • Membership card of BF www.britishfencing.com • Your unique identification code for the LPJS. (what's this >) • Plenty of food and fluids! Please check equipment before you go to any competition. While most competitions will have Amourers at the venue there may be a queue so nothing beats being prepared.
