As one of the oldest and possibly the most successful fencing clubs in the South West, Plymouth Fencing Club continues to attract the beginner, novice, social and competitive fencer (even Olympians) at all levels and abilities. The club offers a warm welcome to all, and whatever standard you are you can be certain of a good nights fencing.
OUR COACHES
Our coaches, Andy Hill (BAF) and Peter Barrett (BAF) have total of over 75 years of fencing and coaching experience between them. As competitive fencers they themselves reached the finals of numerous open events and represented Great Britain at international competitions and Professional World Championships. Together Andy and Peter have produced some of Great Britain's most successful fencers.

COMPETITIVE SUCCESS
The competitive success of the club is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of not only its fencers but also its coaches.
In the last 20 years fencers from the club have won 50 championships including every British Epee male & female championships. From the young beginnings within the Leon Paul Junior Series, the British Youth Championships ( BYC), the English Youth Championships ( EYC) and senior levels.
